Before the trial came along, I was already plodding along my makerspace journey. I had the space, the lego and a whole heap of recycled materials ready to go. This is what I would call an entry level makerspace! Just working with what I had available to begin with. I tinkered in this space with my RAP groups, where we worked on an EngQuest to build the best solar cooker. Here are a few photos of our space.
Not exactly pretty is it? I am very happy to say that I have done a considerable amount of cleaning and reorganising of the space and we are well on our way. Have I got my STEAM ED utopia? Not yet, but I am working on it.
I am going to hold off for a while on progress photos of the space, as I would like to do a big reveal as we approach our grand opening, but I will just a little teaser. If our budget was obscenely large and our space magically tripled in size, it COULD look something like this if we dare to dream.
